Broken
Broken: this thought in me has just awoken:
I am broken...so broken.
I don't know what to think any more.
I don't know what to feel any more.
Broken...I am well and truly broken.
This isn't how it used to be-
This isn't how it's supposed to be-
I remember that once I was so free-
But now I am merely broken-
Composed of so many disjointed fragments.
I am in desperate need
Of some sort of repair;
I urgently require
Someone to care-
Someone to stem the rising tide
Of this sad sea of despair.
Please can you fix me?
Can you make everything all right?
I don't want to remain broken tonight.
